All new undergraduate students are assessed a one-time, mandatory New Student Fee of $450 for their first semester of enrollment. It is nonrefundable and charged to your first-semester tuition bill. You are not required to pay this fee upfront in order to attend Orientation.

This fee includes student attendance at Orientation, one guest Orientation reservation and targeted programming for new students including Welcome Week activities, resources and university publications.

One adult guest reservation is included with the New Student Fee. All additional guests are assessed the Orientation Guest Fee, a per-person charge for each guest attending Orientation with a student. Guest fees must be paid when making your reservation. Students do not pay a separate fee to attend Orientation.

Guest sessions at Orientation are designed for parents, significant others and other adult guests. We do not offer any programming for siblings or young children.

Reservations for Orientation may be changed or canceled until the reservation deadline. All refunds will be issued to the credit card used for payment. After the reservation deadline, no refunds will be issued. Before submitting your reservation and payment:

  • Please check with any guests who may be traveling with you to confirm the Orientation dates you would like to attend. Updates to an existing reservation can be made by modifying your reservation online. Changes must be made by the reservation deadline.
  • Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions Agreement. Before submitting your reservation, you must acknowledge that you accept the Terms and Conditions by entering your e-signature.
