Ready to sign up? Make sure to follow these steps so that your reservation can be processed. Reservations close 10 business days prior to the start of the event, but may close earlier if the event reaches capacity.

Step 1

Submit your Enrollment Commitment Deposit to the USC Office of Admission at Instructions can be found in the Welcome to USC booklet included in your admission packet. Orientation is for certified students only, so you will not be able to sign up until you commit to enrolling at USC.

Step 2

Activate your USC NetID at This will establish your USC email address and give you access to a variety of online student services. You can do this two business days after your Enrollment Commitment Deposit is processed.

Step 3

Wait for your welcome email. Approximately five to seven days after the university receives your commitment deposit, you should receive a welcome email from the USC Office of Orientation Programs notifying you that you can now sign up for Orientation.

Step 4

Click on the appropriate sign-up link. You will need to log in to the reservation system with your USC NetID username and password. If you forgot your username or password, visit to reset it. Be sure to complete your reservation by selecting a session and confirming the number of guests attending.

Step 5

Submit your payment online for any guest or housing fees using your Visa or Mastercard credit card.

Step 6

Save a copy of your confirmation for your records. Once your reservation and payment are processed, you will receive a confirmation email. Your reservation is not complete until you receive this confirmation.

Step 7

Complete your Pre-Orientation Checklist. You access your Checklist by logging in to the Orientation Events page (the same place you make your orientation reservation). The Checklist will prepare you for academic advising and registration at Orientation.
